In keeping with the character of our historic plantation home, guest rooms do not have air conditioning. Each room is equipped with a fan for warmer evenings and an electric heater for cooler nights.

The Sounds of Volcano at Night

• Normal Nighttime sounds: frogs, rain, etc.
• Coqui frogs are active after sundown and their high-pitched calls may be loud. Some guests enjoy this unique tropical nighttime chorus, while others—especially light sleepers—may find it loud. Their calls are beyond our control.
  
  • For your comfort, complimentary earplugs are provided on the nightstand beside each bed. We recommend using them if you are sensitive to nighttime sounds.
• Historic Home & Sound

Our restored 1930s plantation home features traditional single-wall construction, so sound may travel easily between rooms. Please be considerate of other guests by using quiet voices, keeping phone conversations brief, and observing quiet hours—especially at night. We appreciate your kōkua in preserving a peaceful atmosphere for everyone.
