Policies

Reservations / Cancellations / Fees:

ALOHA! Thank you for booking your stay with the Aloha Junction Bed & Breakfast.

For security measures, the Aloha Junction requires a valid credit card number and signature on file to preauthorize your reservations and any damages. Your confirmation signals your agreement to this policy.

CHECK IN - 3​ PM

CHECK OUT - 11 AM

  • It’s always best to pre-arrange any Early Check-In or Late Check-Outs by calling ahead. (808-987-6499)
  • Cleaning fees will be applied every 3 days of stay unless arranged otherwise.

Deposits:

  • Guest pre-authorizes a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the stay to be charged to their credit card at the time of reservation.

Cancellation and Prepayment policy:

  • The guest pre-authorizes a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 7 days before arrival.
  • The guest can cancel Free of charge 7 days prior to booking date, less the non-refundable deposit.
  • Guests are allowed to change dates for the same or higher price units as their original booking up to 3 days before check-in
  • There will be no refunds for early departures.
  • Cancellation exceptions: Grace Period – there will be no fees charged for bookings cancelled within 4 hours of booking.

Fees: 

  • $80 cleaning fee will be applied after check out or every 3 days, unless otherwise declined by guest.
  • Pet fee is $35/night per pet.
  • Additional guest fee is $35/night + taxes if not included on reservation.
  • $80 for extra Service call: room lock outs; over lfowing toilets, overloading the circuit breaker. Example:  Using 3 or more appliances at a time such as the Hair dryer/Microwave/Heater may cause a fuse to blow. .

 

NATURAL OCCURRENCES: Tropical Storms, Hurricanes or other Natural Occurrences

  • During times of "Natural Disaster" or "unusual circumstances" in general...no refunds will be given unless Civil Defense or local authorities order mandatory evacuations on the day/s of your occupancy in Volcano.
    • Example: Cancelling due to stormy weather or island flooding  
  • Any unused portion of the rent will be applied to a future booking.
  • FYI: ALoha Junction B&B has solar lights, and flashlights onsite to help with electrical and plumbing needs during "blackouts".

FREEBIES:

  • WIFI - High speed. Password for the entire house is: Aloha96785 
  • Roku TV
  • Early luggage drop off on lanai are permissible. 
  • Guest Rooms will be provided with some complimentary goodies like with Keurig coffee & tea pods, creamers & sugar + assortment of other items  . 

NON-SMOKING Facility

  • Guests will be charged $500 for smoking or vaping inside the house. This charge is for cleaning, deodorizing or other smoke-related maintenance.

CONSERVATION POLICIES

  • Please do not leave the heater running all day.
  • Observe all water restriction notices when posted due to unforeseen drought...yes even rainforests experience drought!
  • We have scheduled pest control every month but we also ask you to please check your luggage and even your cars for unwanted pests before unloading.

KEYS

  • Door codes with Remote locks have been installed on your doors. 
  • If there are keys, please leave on the kitchenette counter.

DISCLAIMER:

  • Renter agrees to hold Property Manager and/or Property Owners harmless and agree to indemnify the Property Manager and/or Property Owners for legal expense or payment of claims arising out of bodily injury, personal property damage, a personal injury occurring on or about the premises, robbery, vandalism, acts of God, inclement weather conditions, or accidents related to fire.

DAMAGES

  • An overloading electrical circuit is a serious issue and may trip the fuse box. Examples are using multiple appliances such as the hairdryer, room heater, microwave, electrical skillets & coffee makers at the same time. Service calls for blown fuses: $80
  • AJBB reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying soilage or damages beyond all normal wear and tear of their linens, towels walls or furniture.
  • Should damages come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
